CODEplus gets awarded DoD pRFID Contract

NEWINGTON, VA:The US Army Product Manager Joint Automatic Identification Technology (PM J AIT) of the Mission and Installation Contracting Command has awarded CODEplus the contract to develop a turnkey asset management system.

The asset management system (AMA) is a distributed application that includes client desktop solution, database solution and handheld solution, having anticipated functionalities that include inventorying, tagging and managing various government assets in the two PM J-AIT occupied facilities in Newington, VA.

CODEplus won the contract after several rounds of competitive bidding within the pRFID contracting community. The facilities that will use the application developed by CODEplus contain government assets that must be tracked, managed, and reported. The type of assets include but are not limited to office furniture, computer equipment and peripherals, PDAs/Blackberries, printers, scanners, fax machines, copiers, telecommunications equipment, spare equipment, and other non-expendable items.
