The Transaction Concentrator (TC) is the middle tier server that handles requests from Mail Processing Equipment (MPE) and interacts with Surface Air Management System (SAMS), a backend database server. The TC supports a variety of clients, such as the Manual-Scan-Where-You-Band II(MSWYB II), Automatic Airline Assignment (AAA), and Semi-Automatic-Scan-Where-You-Band (SASWYB), PostalOne!™ and others.
The TC enables the interaction between SAMS and MPEs with an effective communication medium, allowing high throughput, better security, and data consistency.
